Conferences & Seminars at the Lassalle-Haus

The Lassalle-Haus offers an ideal environment for meetings, seminars and retreats and a unique opportunity for companies and organisations wishing to provide their employees with a special experience beyond the usual business settings. Thanks to the wide experience of the Swiss Jesuits in the educational field, we can tailor your event and combine it with an introduction to meditation or a multitude of mindfulness exercises.

Your stay at the Lassalle-Haus may thus begin with an introduction to Zen meditation, end with a contemplative trial course, or simply be enriched with a stroll through the grounds and the adjacent rolling hills.

"One of our most difficult tasks is to bring people from many different faiths, cultures and backgrounds together for a few days and form this to create new programmes, organisations and events. Lassalle Haus has proved to be almost unique in its ability to help this happen with ease, delight and joy. The buildings are of such stunning simplicity and beauty and the atmosphere is one of such intellectual endeavor and family affection that this welds our guests together within minutes of their arrival. The setting provides peace and quiet and natural beauty while the intellectual atmosphere encourages openness of ideas, beliefs and aspirations."

Martin Palmer. Secretary General of ARC and President of FaithInvest

Rooms

The hotel offers 75 newly renovated single and double rooms, a cafeteria, four differently sized dining rooms, a light-flooded lobby, and various retreat rooms including the Red Chapel and Zendo (room for Zen meditation).

All rooms are simply furnished and overlook the park or the valley. We deliberately opted against radio / TV in the rooms in order to provide an atmosphere of silence and concentration.  Internet Wi-Fi access is, however, available in all public areas.

Architecture & Park

The park, designed by the renowned Zurich landscape architect Josef A. Seleger, seems to merge with the house. "The dimensions of the building (Lassalle-Haus) are designed according to the principles of harmony. As soon as you enter the house, it begins to sound. I tried to carry these sounds into the outdoor space," says Seleger," as I was inspired by the charisma of the place, its plants, and its architectural history ".
